Ribeira das Naus

Lisbon's waterfront stretches along River Tagus. The area has undergone redevelopment over the last few years. Popular with locals and tourists, the area come alive in the evening when people come here to enjoy the view and rest their legs after climbing up and down the city's hilly cobled-stone streets.

It's early November yet the temperature in Lisbon was mild. The sun started to go down and the seagulls were flying above while the sky turned light pink and the floating clouds moved slowly. People strolled leisurely on the spacious footpath. In the distance a group of people gathered around to watch musicians performed and the light breeze carried the relaxing tunes for everyone to enjoy. A few people were fishing this evening. I could spot a school of fish in the water and moments later spotted someone caught a fish or two. How exciting! Perhaps that will be dinner for the evening. For others enjoying the river view with a glass of beer was the perfect way to enjoy the beautiful evening.
