Strawberry Hill House Flower Festival 2019

Located in Twickenham this gothic mansion was built in the 1700s. It became the summer residence of Horace Walpole, who transformed two cottages on site at the time into his vision of the gothic castle.
This year I had the opportunity to attend the flower festival at Strawberry Hill House. The event was the result of collaborations with over 40 of the most prestigious floral designers, artists and British flower growers

In late October just a couple of days before Halloween, London was shrouded in fog. The temperature dropped and outside the visibility was low - I could only see things a few metres ahead of me. I remember hearing in the news that many flights in and out of London was delayed.

Switch House is a new building that opens to the public in mid June 2016. It is an extension to the existing Tate Modern. This new space is 10 storeys high and there is a balcony on the 10th floor that gives unobstructed view of the city of London with its famous landmarks. Switch House
