St Ninian's Isle

The beauty of St Ninian’s Isle is somewhat underrated and it is easily on the top of my list when I was planning a trip to Shetland Islands. The place is stunningly picturesque and it is as secluded as you can imagine it to be. The natural sand causeway on St Ninian’s Isle beach which is also known as a large tombolo is magnificent. It links the South Mainland with the isle.

It’s a truly special place when you can experience the rugged natural beauty. Clear blue water. White soft sands. Jugged cliffs. Rock formations jutting out of the sea.

Come here and you won’t be disappointed.
